Matt "Fingaz" Spiegel has been the producer of Sound Opinions Radio & Televison, since the radio show’s inception on WXRT in January of 1999, and the birth of the TV show in September of 2003. He found himself uniquely qualified for this position through years of sports radio and television production, his many years singing in bands and in recording sessions, and his self-appointed status as a music snob. Matt’s band Brother Brother is an 11 piece funk-pop thing with horns and backup singers....kind of like Little Feat meets Parliament, with a touch of Zappa kitsch.
His other band, Tributosaurus, is the beast of multiple musical faces, morphing into a different band on the 1st Wednesday of every month at Martyrs’ in Chicago. He has also sold out to the jingle world, where he can be heard on several radio and television spots. In addition, Matt is the nationwide morning host on the Sporting News Radio Network.
Matt is luckily married to Shana Michelle Spiegel, who sings with him in Brother Brother & Tributosaurus. They also own a feisty Ridgeback mutt named Maceo.
