It's outstanding. Shame you don't get Attenborough though.
Nice bowl of Crunchy Nut you got here, pretty expensive as I recall.

Yeah Sigourney Weaver is doing it. The DVD's have him on though.

I in general hate nature shows like this. I do not own an HDTV. I already watch way too much TV. None the less, I am pretty excited to see this show.

They did a sneak preview a few months ago. The segment with the birds of paradise is absolutely insane

very nice.

i was all about the snow leopard clip in the second hour(mountains). all of the shots from the helicopter were cray. next week they're doing cold climate, so i hope to see some arctic fox scavenging. i can't count the times i said, 'that would look good in HD.'

I knew people on this board had some taste. This show was fucking phenominal. Just got my HD DVR last weekend. I was watching this Jeep Adventure show with this guy who was rock climbing. HOly shit was that cool. This HD shit is changing my taste in shows. When I turn on the tv I go straight ot the HD channels and decide what to watch and oh my god is this Planet Earth show a fucking eye orgasm and the fucking shit they teach you!! I had no fucking clue that the wind took the sands from the Sahara fucking desert to fertilize the rainforests. OMFG the imagary was stunning throughout. All those Carribou!! This is the best thing EVER on tv.

I got an HDTV for this, but won't get my HD cable hookup till Friday. Nonetheless....stunning! They're rerunning last night's broadcast on The Science Channel tonight. Yesterday afternoon I also watched Blue Planet on the Animal Planet channel ( I missed it previously), which was Alistair's first series in 2001, and honestly, I think Sigourney does a great job. Attenborough's voice, though great, kind of bored me. I know...blasphemy!
