Fucking typical that the first time I actually cut myself shaving is 2 hours before graduation.
But among the jackals, the panthers, the bitch hounds, The apes, the scorpions, the vultures, the serpents, The yelping, howling, growling, crawling monsters, In the filthy menagerie of our vices, There is one more ugly, more wicked, more filthy! Although he makes neither great gestures nor great cries, He would willingly make of the earth a shambles And, in a yawn, swallow the world; He is Ennui! His eye watery as though with tears, He dreams of scaffolds as he smokes his hookah pipe. You know him reader, that refined monster, Hypocritish reader, my fellow, my brother!

I don't understand how that's weird or fascinating.

Hey, my curiosity is easily piqued. It makes for an absolutely epic attention span, concentration, etc., the downside being that not everyone thinks it's interesting to spend the workday sifting through the wacky world of hedge fund managers. In some tribes they might call this "mild autism." lol.

I'm sure you'll find out all sorts of stuff about those people, but in my experience, the more you learn, the less interesting they become. Anyway, you should have a good time in the city, make sure you take advantage of the place before it wears you down.

I agree with Feisty, they are magical people. I wish all walks of life had regattas. Panhandlers Assembly Regatta (Nantucket Conference) AA Annual Regatta (Eighth Step and Up Only) Elephant Ear-Rollers and Associated Tradesmen Regatta and so forth

In the future there is only drink and birds.

This is something I can get behind.

even though our company seems to be in fiduciary trouble every six to eight weeks, they ponied up some bucks and got me this spectacular new iMac for my office it's pretty fantastic and about a billion times faster than the old POS they had me working on it's a good day if only for that reason and for the delicious thai food i picked up at the farmers market this afternoon. a good day, indeed...now if only i could get rid of this nagging cough

I read that as firearms market. I obviously need more wine.

Fuck, I'm out. Moving on to rum.

No, it'll be stupid, and we're already doing something stupid.

Never have done much with the friends list here. Last night Rabbi was nice enough to add me per the email notice but he doesn't show up on the friend list. I suspect yet another great screw up in the upgrade of a couple weeks back. I was gonna mess around with the friends list today but if it's broken why bother. Anyone else use it much or have problems with it?

You'll see your name on his friends list. You have to add him as a friend if you want to see him on your list.

A ha...thanks V.

On another topic.

So is it inappropriate to strike up a conversation with an amazingly attractive woman I see in Mass everyday? She appears to be single. Yes, the objective is hitting on her.

Yeah, so long as you don't swoop in like a hawk or stare at her chest or anything. Granted, I've never been great at this part of it, so maybe I'm full of it.
