Show #70: 03.30.07
This week Jim and Greg enter into the psychedelic world of Elephant Six. This musical collective had humble beginnings in a small town in rural Lousiana, but has gone on to produce some of the most innovative pop and rock music ever. Jim and Greg will highlight some of their favorite songs from bands like Neutral Milk Hotel and Olivia Tremor Control, and talk with Elephant Six founder and Apples in Stereo front man Robert Schneider.

I remember that one issue of Magnet, where they asked Mangum what songs he wished he'd written, and he said loads of E6 songs. 'Gay Bar' and stuff.
lol.
Really excited for this. Elephant 6 doesn't seem to get the credit they deserve. Their impact on modern indie music is massive.
