OH shit yeah. Comin to the cities. First Avenue 7th street entry on September 30th for 8 bucks. Caribou now has competition for 'most anticipated fall show'. Damn I can't wait to get out of Pittsburgh, a.k.a. musical purgatory. Was that Hideout show sweet? Obviously. So stoked.

No it was awesome. Like the Ramones used to do it: Twenty songs or so in just as many minutes. No bantor or bullshit or tuning or anything between tracks.

this is correct
"Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humour."

Damo Suzuki: So, um, yeah. Getting older isn't as bad as it sounds. Better than being young & poor (DjDrake) or young & slutty (SG) or young, poor and slutty (Paves); am I right?

Alright, my friends. It's time for another solid little rock jam
