i think it was recorded with just one microphone too.i read that cowboy junkie's album "the trinity session" was recorded in just one day (was it night?) at a church.
are there any other stories of well known albums being recorded under strange circumstances like that?

that was pretty interesting readThe story behind Springsteen's Nebraska is one of the best I've ever heard. Not the recording session itself (though it was done in his bedroom) but the strange path it took from recording to mastering. Link.

i guess that would be the kind of album you wouldn't mess remastering and such, right?
