Is there a bad track on this album, how hard was picking the best track? I could have picked any of five tracks.

Picking my favorite track was murder.

This was one of three albums in rotation at the first co-ed party I ever attended, in 7th grade, I think. The other two were My Aim Is True and Are We Not Men?, and I pretty much had my spongy mind blown.

But yeah, I had completely forgotten how good this was. One of the vinyl stalwarts I have yet to replace.

In high school we used to get fried in my friends basement, Blondie was often the soundtrack. I picked Sunday Girl. Always had a soft spot for that one.

I don't know whether I would have been more interested in the girls or the music.

Heart of Glass I never need to hear again, no matter how great it is, because in college it got played at every non-rap music party i went to. It'd be like having to hear "Hey Ya" again. but uhh yeah "Hanging on the Telephone" is best to me.

this was a close call between "hanging on the telephone" and "11:59" for me, but the cover prevailed.

I'm going with "Hanging on the Telephone" simply because it's the first track on the album and I remember buying this and putting it on and being blown away by it immediately. But didn't someone else do this song originally?

doesn't matter how overplayed "heart of glass" was, it's by far the best.

I went with Fade away & Radiate as my favorite, gave it a 9, but it's closer to a 9.8 for me. Brilliant record from an underrated band.

yes, the nerves. i believe that they played a show together and blondie liked the song so much that they wanted to play it themselves.

The only Blondie album I like, but it's pretty great. "Hanging on the Telephone" wins best song for me, but the "da da da......dada-dadadada....da da da...." bit of "Heart of Glass" still makes me smile.

The Nerves original of Hanging on the Telephone is so much better. No that the Blondie one isn't great, but the Nerves one is, like, my favorite song ever. So much more urgency. Which is why I have to go with Heart of Glass.

Sweet Jesus this is a great album. I voted for "Sunday Girl", but I now wish I had cast mine for "Hangin' on the Telephone". One of my favorite opening tracks to any album.
