Actually, it doesn't have to be ladies, and it can't be a date (I'm married), but it looks like I've got an extra guest list slot available for Roky Erickson on Friday. It's not absolutely positive (I'm about to ask my dad if he wants to go, but I figure that's about a 15% chance), but it's pretty for sure.

BTW, I was all set to take my 15-year old son (got permission to take him to Abbey Pub), and he just got grounded for the next 2 years.

I'm going to hope that the lack of response is due to:
1) Everyone is going to Daft Punk
2) nobody likes parody threads
or
3) nobody likes Roky Erickson
and not that I'm like scary or something.
