I think I'm a few books behind in the Dark Tower series and don't really care to catch up.
I'm the exact same way- I tore through the first four and have now been 150 pages from finishing The Wolves Of Calla for about 2 years. Don't know if I'll ever pick it back up.

Read all of my stupid song parodies here. Latest song improved/ruined: "Once Again" by Girl Talk.
Listen to my stupid song parodies, recorded a capella via cell phone, at vocalo.org .(search 'agrimorfee')
Read the slowly developing history of classic putative rock band The Anderson Council at my cheap, bland blog
Might as well throw my Last.fm page here, too.

"Sorry Wrong Number" is the story, I believe, Tweed.
Dark Tower is worth finishing. I happen to be in my 2nd or 3rd reread of Wolves, and probably will finish it all off again. It goes into some directions that no one would expect. Trust me.
POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT:
I know that it is somehow related to the Stand (favorite King novel, btw.)...

Eh...almost every King book gets tied into the Dark Tower series at some point, even if it's just a passing mention.
All my life i wanted to be black.
Until i saw your picture, now i wanna be you.

That's it! Thank you. I'd give you a cookie but in combination with the birthday cake . . . probably shouldn't push our luck at your age . . .

It's actually "Sorry, Right Number" if anyone cares. No ice cream for you, Aggy.

Yeah, huge fan of "The Mist." Movie could suck, although it's directed by Darabont, who has a good track record with SK short stories, and has Frank Pembleton in it, too.
I think the movie will be fine. Obviously its a pretty straight-forward story, and pretty simplified. If you like the book, its tough to see how Darabont can screw it up. I just hope the effects aren't too cheap. This was a super-fast shoot and a short production time. I'm not expecting LOTR or SW Prequal quality effects, but it had better be o.k.

King would probably say that 'Rage' was the more embarrassing of his early novels.
Makes sense - I would probably say I have better taste than Stephen King.
