i was reading old head bobby xtgau at consumer guide, he gave dylans last 2 albums A+. b4 dat he never gave dude more than A minus. idylan also topp pazz and jopp twice recently, i have to salute him. to do ur best work at his age, gotta salute grumps. i havent heard tha albums, can someoe give me the gist of his narrative etc and how does it compare to his oler stuff. i'm a real long distnce fan of dylan, i dont own any of bhis shit but he one of the few 60's gods that live up to the hype in my opinion.

if any one of that top 5 was questionable it'd be nashville skyline for me, a fun reccud but not a great one.

Obviously, I need to get more Dylan eventually. I don't have JWH, Desire, or Nashville Skyline. Even still, Modern Times is a disappointment after TOoM and L&T. In fact, of what I do have of Dylan's, Modern Times is somewhere near the bottom. In no particular order: 1. Highway 61 2. Blood on the Tracks 3. Time Out of Mind 4. Freewheelin 5. Love and Theft 6. Bringing it all Back Home Maybe I'm a plebian, but Blonde on Blonde just doesn't agree with me. Oh Mercy has moments of sheer genius as well (Most of the Time, Ring them Bells).

I put Planet Waves on there, but if it can't be because it's Dylan and the Band, I'd replace it with: Blonde on Blonde.
