Considering purchasing one for $300 and would be using it solely for writing.

Wonder if anybody has one or has heard anything about it.

There's supposed to be a new one soon with more memory and a wider screen. If you're using it for writing, the wider screen will be worth waiting for. I can't see how you could get used to that keyboard though.

Yeah, the keyboard is my main concern. The wider screen would be nice, though i could care less about memory. Actually, more memory just invites distraction I don't need while writing.

Friend got one over X-mas. Mostly for e-mail and basic office apps while traveling. He ended up getting a laptop a couple of months ago. It's the sort of thing that's cool in theory, until you get frustrated with the limitations. The keyboard was a problem too.
