I don't see this place as polarizing at all. I eat there maybe once a year or so.
voting is bearing this out in nearly-hilarious fashion

theory disproved, at least when the statistical pool is comprised of sombies.
I'd say I'm sick of it since I ate it so much in college, but I don't despise it. Although the only thing I'll eat on the menu anymore is the mexican pizza. Those things still kick ass.

Dusty Springfield - Dusty in Memphis 8.5/10
Buddy & Julie Miller - Written in Chalk wow, first listen, but great great record! 9.3/10
Justin Townes Earle - Midnight at the Moviessurprisingly great, never picked up his past releases, but this one's knocking my socks off right away, 8.7/10
M. Ward - Hold Time 8.0/10
Neko Case -Middle Cyclone her best I've heard is my initial impression, but too soon to rate, haven't had a really good listen yet 7.8/10

they have mexican pizza? guess it's been awhile since I visited a taco bell... don't despise it, but unless you live in the boonies no real reason to ever go there. tons of great and often cheap mexican food around.
Mexican Pizzas have been on the menu for at least 16 years (going back to my freshman year of college when I first had one).

It's possibly been that long since I've been to one... although I probably have been there once in that span. I probably didn't actually read the menu though.they have mexican pizza? guess it's been awhile since I visited a taco bell... don't despise it, but unless you live in the boonies no real reason to ever go there. tons of great and often cheap mexican food around.

Take it or leave it. Been there maybe 3-4 times ever.
When you live in a big city you inherently have a good sized latino population. That means authentic taquerra's. Why go to Taco Bell?
You can't beat genuine Mexican food for its heartiness on the dollar. Have a bowl of chicken soup at one of these taquerias sometime...in the bowl with the broth you get huge, huge chunks of veggies and potatoes, plus 1/4 of a chicken--not boned, pick the meat off yourself!
We went to a place in Aurora (hi Jess, you might know!) last weekend called La Quinta de las Reyes and ordered something called a paradilla (spelling is way off, I know) for 4 people--a heated pan filled to heaping with grilled pork, beef, chicken, sausage, onions, peppers, prawns in their shells, and other goodies, with a center bowl of melted cheese in a picante sauce...plus a cup of ham and bean soup and tortillas, all for 49 bucks. We ate like kings.

Taco Bell is a great fast food chain in that everything there just tastes like taco bell. What you order is more about what texture you're in the mood for and how much money you care to spend.
