stellar singles band, great voice/frontman, great production skills. basically when U2 decided to become a pop band, this is what it should have been like. i don't have to post the youtubes, you know all the songs. one of the best rock n roll deaths too, or one of the worst, i can't decide. seriously though. post the youtubes anyway.
Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

Elastico and GDB on the money indeed. Two of their best singles ever.

I still have a few of their 45s, and The Swing.

"Don't Change" is pretty awesome.

Yes because INXS are so much better remembered for their raw, nervy, masculine energy than their panty-dropping abilities of smoothness

and yeah "Kiss the Dirt" is the hotness as well. And "Don't Change," well...yeah.

Just felt weak to me.

no I don't, not another song I can think of but goddamn, "Not Enough Time." That song should've been their "So Alive."

does anyone else here ever have this phenomenon where every YouTube link you click on freezes after two seconds? I can't figure this out and it's really bugging the shit out of me.

But they had way bigger hits than "So Alive"

well they should have had one more

edit: analogy is made in terms of sexiness in addition to popularity, and is admittedly weak to begin with

That's what I though of right away. Couple great tracks on Shabooh Shoobah, but that's my favorite song of their career.

They started getting on my nerves by the time Kick came around. Although it was inescapable frat rock at the time.

If you never got to see them live I feel bad for you. Hutchence was one of those natural frontmen, like Freddie and, sigh yes, Bono. That dude could strut out and own an arena in seconds.

I have that happen too! But only in Firefox. I just use IE Tab to refresh the page in an IE window of Firefox. Sorry if that isn't the easy answer you were looking for (not sure how satisfied I am with it myself).

This band has been relegated in my musical consciousness to the same dustbin of forgettable 80's pop ditties shared by prolific shit-issuers like Fine Young Cannibals and the Thompson Twins Seriously, I don't know if this is just silly SOMBie "pop"timism, but I'm baffled by the love in this thread.
