Lucky bastid. This band was so close to greatness. Thanks, Vince Neil."One of the best shows I've ever seen was the Hanoi Rocks show I saw at the El Mocambo in Toronto mere days before the death of Razzle. Michael Monroe had a broken leg and Andy McCoy was right wasted, but boy oh boy, were they a powerful live band." - Gbro

Sounds like another vote from Bob. Move them up to #255!This thread came at the perfect moment. I haven't had a reason to constantly refresh the SOMB in a while. I'm shocked and embarassed to admit how many of the bands I either haven't heard or haven't even heard OF. Sparklehorse is one of those bands that I've always meant to check out and never did, so I DL'ed some of their stuff last night and it's rad as hell.
Keep it comin, Paul. Epic thread.

Eh, I'm not sure they're urban enough to warrant that high a placement.

maybe no one. I can't recall seeing any other votes for Patty Griffin besides my own, so I kinda suspect this is the part of the list where those artists with only 1 vote but a #1 vote wound up - 200 is a lot of points, y'know. Did you vote Whitley #1?Be Getting Over In The Big Sky Country
