Pacino. Although he seems to be working hard to catch up, his body of work doesn't contain quite as many "WHAT were you thinking" moments as DeNiro's does.


Does DeNiro really have anything more "what the fuck are you doing" than either of those?
I think DeNiro probably wins as far as great movies he has been in, but Pacino has Glengarry and the Godfathers.. They're fairly even. I don't even know.

Never seen the latter, which I always think of as the movie that killed Annie Lennox's acting aspirations, or the former, which, though reviled upon release has come under favorable critical review with the passage of time. Not good, eh?

DeNiro all the way.
I can hardly take Pacino's overacting anymore.
DeNiro's overacting is somehow more endearing.
Pacino's overacting was clearly evident in "Two For The Money."
