If you haven't heard it, try tracking down their "Thacker Mtn Radio" performance - it's lovely.

Does anybody remember that link that somebody posted a few months ago to Greg Cartwright's guest appearance on a radio show? He played some incredible obscure singles.
Yes. Man is that some incredible listening. I took out all the talking bits and burned all the songs to 2 CD's, and they haven't left my car since. Lots and lots of awesome, awesome stuff.

I posted that stuff.
Definitely worth the download for anybody that missed it the first time.I recently came across a radio show that he hosted on a Milwaukee radio station. It's 60 songs from his personal 45 collection: Part I, Part II
That right... it was Fiat!
Incredible listening with staying power.

This is wild, each song is individually tagged. Did you go through them all and do that yourself?I posted that stuff.

Yeah, tagged em all... I just like doing things like that, and it would really bother me if they were just a mess of songs. There were some screwed up file names, too. They were originally titled by how they were introduced by the hosts, which was obviously not accurate with the actual songs. Some were left out entirely. A couple of the songs I wasn't able to find titles or artists for, so if anybody can figure those ones out, lemme know!!This is wild, each song is individually tagged. Fiat Records, I was unaware you did all the tagging for these things. You did a bang up job.
And I'm listening to one of these radio shows now and yeah, still great stuff. I wish I had a talent for finding awesome obscure stuff like Cartwright. Man, these songs are so good. There's really not a dud on these things which is pretty amazing.
I find myself listening to the first of the three radio shows more times than not. But seriously, so many great songs on here.
I'm ever so psyched to get home and download that stuff. Thanks a ton Fiat.
And Simakos, not sure what's wrong with the link, but I'll re-up that too much guitar link again later tonight if nobody else does it first.

some band called Reruns created one of the finest pop songs I've ever heard but sadly created little else.
Oh I know. "So Alone" is arguably my favorite song from the show, and it's about all they ever put out. I remember allmusic-ing them and thinking "what the hell do you mean there's no entry for them??"

I dunno. I have it divided in to three parts. I think I might have labeled it all wrong, though. I dunno. There's a lot of songs.
