I fear this thread has peaked too soon.

Insofar as you haven't spokento me, you're doing pretty well at that.

I improve the SOMB every day: I am the Divider. My mere existence forces people to choose what they're all about within the SOMB context. I am the Defining Line.

I would've emphasized "you."

No, it'll be stupid, and we're already doing something stupid.

Your tired and boring attempt to impersonate B17OE/the real guest is certainly not improving the SOMB on any level.

I ignored Montana's bitching about Radiohead's recent album output. I informed our gentle readers about the additions to SNL, the cancellation of MadTV, and posted a thought-provoking article about political tolerance amongst junior high kids. I didn't have a knee-jerk reaction to Waylon's first post in this thread. Not a bad day, thus far.

Hey, Helmet - that photo you've long used in your avatar was the subject of one of Neil Steinberg's editorials yesterday in the Sun-Times. The paper ran the image alongside his piece and, I'm a bit ashamed to admit this, my mind immediately jumped to the Sound Opinions Message Board. I also learned a bit of the photographer, of course, and how & why he took that photograph of his kids.

I shared my recent discovery of Spiritual Beggars with the Metal Thread denizens. It won't help out experts like Throughsilver, but 70's-sympathetic dabblers may find something to appreciate in Ad Astra's retro grooves.
