1. Gang Gang Dance - Saint Dymphna
2. Extra Life – Secular Works
3. Kasai Allstars - In the 7th Moon, the Chief Turned Into a Swimming Fish and Ate the Head of His Enemy by Magic
4. Lindstr๘m - Where You Go I Go Too
5. Fennesz – Black Sea

That's a hell of a top 5. Well, four of them at least. I need to hear this Extra Life album now.

Poon and Auto, damn good lists. Forgot Madlib's Vol. 5 and 6 were released together. I need to put those in my top 50. By themselves, I don't think they make the list, but together, absolutely.

People having good taste?

Not really, LOL.

EDIT: Aw, yeah, Fennesz even made RG's list. I hope it does well in the final results.

Damo Suzuki: So, um, yeah. Getting older isn't as bad as it sounds. Better than being young & poor (DjDrake) or young & slutty (SG) or young, poor and slutty (Paves); am I right?

Alright, my friends. It's time for another solid little rock jam

1. Jenny Lewis –Acid Tongue

I really wanted to love this one, but came away only liking it.

13. Fennesz – Black Sea
22. Coldplay – Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends
30. M83 – Saturdays = Youth
34. Sun Kil Moon – April
40. Kathleen Edwards – Asking For Flowers
47. The Killers – Day & Age
50. Lykke Li – Youth Novels

All awesome. Especially someone voting for Edwards, whom I thought put out one of the best albums of the year, it's looking like Top 10, maybe 5, for me.

How the hell did this happen? Did you look at a side profile of her while you listened to the album?
Every Sunday morning I wake up
I see you by your dresser doing your make-up
Fluttering a Chinese fan in a Knoxville fashion
All last night you tossed and turned
Your body was hotter than the night Richmond burned
You say you had a bad nightmare about tractor trailers crashing

Yeah, hard to tell with him I guess.

Notes on the thread:

1. I enjoy seeing the lurkers come out for this.
2. My first review of the thread and lists. Always amazed at the plethora of albums that I've either not heard or just couldn't put in my top 50 but on another day may well have placed.
