What's the biggest lie you've ever told on a job interview? What's the biggest lie you've ever told to a spouse/gf/bf? I don't care what this lie says about you; I want to know, primarily, if you got away with it.
Wtf @ theminimuncircus retardly interjecting.

1. "I really want to work at Taco Bell." 2. "You're beautiful and I love you." I got the job and quit six weeks later. I got engaged to the girl and she left me. Did I get away with it? Only if short term gain is all that matters.

1. "I don't mind long hours." Sure I got away with it--if you work the hours, they don't actually care how you feel about it. 2. "I do." Untrue in the end, but it wasn't a lie when I said it.

"You're beautiful and I love you" is a lie that makes me feel worse and worse every time I say it.

I was confronted by a former gf about whether or not I had fucked her best friend; in a stabbing bit of dramatic irony, she already knew the answer, but asked me anyway; I lied like a craven sack of shit. I didn't feel bad about it. I still don't. But I feel bad about lying to my wife about anything. I realize that's pretty banal, but I'm trying to gauge people's guilt threshold.
