I know the 80's were sort of a strange time, and we all made personal choices we might think better of now, but damn dood fucking Fastway?!
I actually had a Fastway record (sort of) when I was a wee lad. It was the Trick or Treat soundtrack. Wasnt bad, but I was young and didnt know any better.
We just saw FM in October, and I have to say that I was disappointed when they introduced the members individually and almost no one in that band is from Ireland.
So wait, the dude from Flogging Molly was a hair metal guy?

You didn't know that? Yeah, it's weird. Fastway was so much better than Flogging Molly. "Say What You Will", "All Fired Up"...great tunes.

And don't forget, the "fast" in Fastway is Fast Eddie Clarke from Motorhead. But all you Guitar Hero kids already knew that.

Flogging Molly have had serious ups and downs but Float is mostly one hell of an up.

Dave King was also in the short-lived Katmandu, a VERY Zeppelin sounding band.
