Tug Of War could never be in my top 5 for this very simple yet important reason
to this day i can't even begin to understand how awful this song is
Didn't he release a solo version of that song a couple of years ago? I have never heard it, just wondering if it's just as awful as the duet.

Oh dear! The Fireman album has been getting some good reviews. I love Paul McCartney, but I do not think it's worth to buy any more of his albums. He has lost his ability to write worthwhile songs. So sad. He should just stick to touring these days.

I'm surprised to see how many people put McCartney II in the top 5 best. I do not own it, but I've heard people say it is pretty miserable. What justifies/redeems it?

A good reason to hate Pipes Of Peace:
Gotta admit though, "Say Say Say" was a much better duet with MJ than "The Girl Is Mine"
I think the Michael Jackson/Paul McCartney duets are by far the worst! "Ebony and Ivory" with Stevie Wonder comes in third to worse after those.
Better duets for Paul: with Carl Perkins on Tug of War and with Elvis Costello (songwriting credits, but I don't think they performed together).
