Converge is not that obscure.
Also, you can be the grizzly to it and it has balls to boot!
Wake up on the wrong side of the mountains today?

I tried getting into it this morning based on the hype in here and I just couldn't. Made me pine for my hardcore days, but I just can't go back. It's over.how anybody past the age of 19 might enjoy Converge is beyond me... it's really good hardcore/metal/crossover/whatever and i respect it, but i find it funny that any adult could listen to this stuff on a regular basis.

19+ crowd should probably be sticking exclusively to grown folks music like Vampire Weekend and Merriweather Post Pavillion, huh.
c'mon...Once I turned 19 I started an exclusive listening diet of John Denver records.
thanks.He has a point.

I'm amazed that someone of your taste says that. You bang on about pop-punk/grr-punk all the time.how anybody past the age of 19 might enjoy Converge is beyond me... it's really good hardcore/metal/crossover/whatever and i respect it, but i find it funny that any adult could listen to this stuff on a regular basis.
Ah, there we go. The wisdom of ignorance.the little Converge that i have heard...

Everybody who likes Converge here has done the latter, as they tend to be the small percentage of people on this board who aren't convinced that North American Indie Rock is somehow the center of the entire music universe.my only point is that eventually you will grow out of good fast, ugly and heavy music and hopefully into more interesting areas and genres.
