This is just a grime banger of the highest order though, been all over it on repeat, chorus is addictive as fuck:

Take your girl, no dinner no rose
Two minutes in my bedroom, no clothes
Girls everywhere, girls in the club
Looking at me, tryna make a black man blush

Tune.

Uplifting, melodic house music. Has that quality of joy and love that you got from the early house tunes, no lyrics, no diva wailing, no cheesy breakdowns. Just restrained, euphoric electronic bliss.

If I can suggest this one. Something that I just finished.

A fingerpicked acoustic folk/pop song set in an electronic Fripp/Eno-esque framework.

Please remove it or let me know if I am overstepping by posting this.

But I hope that you all check it out.

Thanks.

First thing of yours I've listened to, pretty nice. Has a really nice feel and rhythm to it. Nice to see drums that don't take over, especially on something as laid back as this.

Thanks so much, waves.

It took me a long time to finish this one. And, while there are still some things that I would like to tweak, I think that it was just time for me to let it go and get it out there.

Glad that you liked it and I appreciate you saying so.

So last year, my favorite album was Frank Turner's Tape Deck Heart, and "Recovery" was one of my favorite songs. Just a pile of uptempo songs about love and heartache I could drink and sing to.

Anything like that out this year?

Listen to my album, This Is Supposed To Be Fun, on Spotify, or buy it on any of the major online music services.

I drink and sing to everything.

No, it'll be stupid, and we're already doing something stupid.

I got a tip off about Still Corners about a month ago and have been listening to over and over, since then.

This track has a real 90s Photek gloomyness to it:

Hello, so I stumbled across this album by Woman's Hour called Coversations, and I rate it very highly. It was recommended in an interview with the lead singer of Wild Beasts, as both bands are from Kendal, where they make that delicious mint cake!

Anyway, it's an awesome album, I really love it - I guess it's somewhere in the realms of The XX, but leans more towards synth pop.

This is one of the singles, but it's worth checking out the whole album, it's lovely....
