The limit here is currently 100 films BUT if enough people feel they can do lists of 150 or even 200 I will strongly consider making those the limit.
Taking the limit as 100 though
1. 1000
2. 750
3. 500
4. 400
5. 350
6. 320
7. 300
8. 280
9. 260
10. 250
11. 245
12. 240
13. 235
14. 230
15. 225
16. 220
17. 215
18. 210
19. 205
20. 200
25. 175
30. 150
31. 148
32. 146
33. 144
34. 142
35. 140
40. 130
45. 120
50. 110
55. 100
60. 90
65. 80
70. 70
75. 60
80. 50
85. 40
90. 30
95. 20
96. 18
97. 16
98. 14
99. 12
100. 10
Again hope this will put an emphasis on ordering the higher end of the list and won't penalise those who submit smaller lists or give a bias to either the films we've all seen or high ranking films on a few lists.
The deadline for votes is 15th May at the moment and the list will be counted down before the end of the month. Again don't expect a list with enteries as long as displayed on previous votes on here. The final countdown for every set will be 150 or maybe 200 depending on votes but the full list of multiple votes will be made available.
Best places to start...

Read all of my stupid song parodies here. Latest song improved/ruined: "Once Again" by Girl Talk.
Listen to my stupid song parodies, recorded a capella via cell phone, at vocalo.org .(search 'agrimorfee')
Read the slowly developing history of classic putative rock band The Anderson Council at my cheap, bland blog
Might as well throw my Last.fm page here, too.

Contempt is overrated, not a fan. I'd also recommend Alphaville as a contender, it has its charms.

May 12ish.Seventh Seal
Virgin Spring
Bob Le Flambeur
Le Samourai
off the top of my head. Don't know if these were mentioned or not. Just noticed the thread, when are lists due? Birdisword I think mine will resemble yours quite a bit, we have similar tastes for the period.

The cack re-make didn't spoil The Ladykillers for me. A fantastic film and one of a handful of Ealing comedy classics that will make my list.
and yes May 12th.
