Rope was 48' bro. Go Fish.

Oops. never mind that one, then.

Another 'BIG' Meyers fan... bosom-mania a go-go..

Hell, yeah. Had to include Meyer's B&W movies. And Vixen, the most joyously preposterous RM flick of the 60s. Not as big a fan of his late 60s "morality plays" (Good Morning and Good Night, Finders keepers Lovers Weepers, etc).

'Forum' in the top 100? shocka...

I love that movie. Zero Mostel, Richard Lester...what's not to like? Plus, tons of extremely silly lines like:

"Was 1 a good year?"

"That's the brute who raped my country, Thrace!"
"He raped Thrace?"
"And then he came and did it again! And then again!"
"He raped Thrace thrice?"

Buster Keaton as Erronius, too.

Should have stayed home and drank beer instead of going to work today.

Now Playing: Brahms, Symphony No 2; Giulini - Wiener

Heh heh, he said "Wiener"...

Eh, still doesn't do all that for me. Just like Mad, Mad, Mad World is not really a tour de force of comedy just cause you shove every comedian in there... Love Keaton but I'd just as well vote for Limelight with the comparison of his later performances.

Just watch that one physical bit he does when everyone's rushing through the woods in chariots, on horses, sedan chairs, etc., and this one little old man's just jogging along through the middle without shifting a step to either side or breaking stride... Masterful.

Still performing a sweep tp make sure alternate/foreign titles aren't causing a film to lose votes but expect something today.
Nice bowl of Crunchy Nut you got here, pretty expensive as I recall.

OK, i'm done checking. The top 200 starts tomorrow, with 100-001 being presented in the larger style.
