yea, it'd only be better if they were preceeded by scrubs. it'd be must see tv with actual funny shows. gasp!!The last two episodes have been top notch. For my money, the Office has now solidified itself as the top show on network television.
Finally, NBC has made a smart decision: placing Earl and the Office into the Thursday 8:00-9:00 pm slot.

^ No.
Gervais will never be topped. Nor will Gareth sitting in the sidecar.
Absolutely!!! i think they chose the right person to play gervais in the US but it will never be as good.
Gareth in the side car is one of the funniest scenes iv ever seen! And 'THE DANCE' brent does.
Brilliant!

When the NBC version began, it felt like an inferior version of the BBC version.do you think the US version is as funny as the UK original?
Over time, however, they have deviated more and more from the UK version - the plot has developed quite differently and the mood is quite different. The American version is much more an ensemble comedy compared to the British version, where the personalities of most of the supporting characters were implied rather than expressed. The show isn't quite as bleak and focused on the monotony of working life as the UK version, and has instead broadened its scope and explored life outside the workplace (for example we never really see Tim at home in the UK version, but we do see where Jim lives - the US version in general spends a lot more time outside the Office itself).
Really pleased with both shows at this point.
