First listen and this is a fun little album. A bunch of catchy tunes here, and this neat little electric pop type thing going on.

I fully support people doing drugs on the streets. I'm sick and tired of people being selfish by doing drugs in the privacy of their own homes. Do it on the streets where you can share with your friends and neighbors. It's the Christian thing to do.

Last two albums played: merriweather post pavillion merriweather post pavillion Seriously considering playing it again. I hope this doesn't get boring soon, cause it's perfect now. (contributes to unstoppable, annoying hype machine)

Portishead - Dummy One of my favourite Christmas presents. I love how powerful her vocals are on this, a contrast to vocals on Third I feel. I will definitly be investigating the other album and the live one.

How's that Nodzzz full-length? The single from late '07 is pretty good.

Also, I couldn't get into that Kurt Vile album. What's the draw for you?

Gil Mantera's Party Dream -- Ballerina EP

If 'Ballerina' is any indication of how their new album is going to turn out, I see myself falling for it harder than I did Bloodsongs.

The Nodzzz is okay i guess... i'm only on my first few listens. it's pretty naive childish garage stuff with very silly lyrics and really basic tried and true chord progressions. i bet they are fun live.

i really dig the Kurt Vile stuff, weird you don't like it. it perfectly satisfies my lo-fi garage fit that i've been in for a month or so now, but it's the folky siger-songwriter aspect of it that keeps me coming back.

i've been spinning and buying so many stupid little lo-fi garage records from last year that i missed out on: Nodzzz, Kurt Vile, Blank Dogs, Nothing People, The Oh Sees... the only one i caught early enough to put on my list was that Wavves record.
