MOJO presents BAD SEEDS - Nick Cave: Roots & Collaborations

I got to Borders too late in the end.

With all due respect, I don't want a The Who issue

They seem to have the Stones and The Who on the cover pretty frequently.

New issue of The Wire has Sunn 0))) on the front and a giveaway CD featuring the usual blend of of click, skronk and ARGH.

Pretty wacky cover.

it's a band called Reigns... i've only heard one tune and it was kind of boring piano dirge stuff. that might not be the album cover...

Sid, is the rest any good?

Dammit!

The one time I tried this kind of joke - just taking some random pic, posting it in Now Playing - and it turns out to be the very thing I was trying to parody.

Nuh uh.
The Blasting Concept Vol. 2 was a compilation released in 1985 on SST Records. It is the follow-up to the 1983 first volume.
Though Bill is most likely playing drums on the Black Flag track.

Simakos, did you ever hear/like anything on the Owned & Operated label?

EDIT: Pic on back is the Henry-Greg-Sal-Anthony lineup of 'Flag.

Both volumes are pretty great and chock full 'o the legendary SST bands.

There was a great track by Saccharine Trust called "A Human Certainty" on Vol. 1.
Plus, both volumes have tracks by the Minutemen and Black Flag... how can you go wrong?
