Metallica debuted "Cyanide" last night, and it sounds pretty good.

Though the song occasionally seems to lose the plot, it sounds promising. Seems like it could end up sounding like something that could have been made between Justice and Black, which would be hard to complain about. The presence of an "Unforgiven III" does make one a little wary, however.

Yeah, the album version should feel tighter. But I think it's more focused than, say, the new Trivium song, which is a complete mess.

Fucking FUCK! Genghis Tron are doing another UK tour and this time they are coming over to Ireland, but I will be in Scotland doing another year of study and will probably not have time to come over and see them (they aren't coming to Scotland). Damn them all to hell! In other news: I listened to Nachtmystium last night and the new album is probably going to be dueling it out with Genghis Tron for number 1. I intend to post on this album and my other favourites of the year in the near future (next week).

By the way, if you all can drag yourselves from ambient BM for a few minutes, get listening to the new Zozobra album. Comfortably better than the last one, so get it heard. No offence to the ambient BM set. RIYL: Iron Monkey, Greenmachine, Sabbath, Melvins.

Oh yeah, I posted that a couple of pages back. It is pretty good. As I said in a previous post, we have visitors at the moment so I havn't had a chance to crank things. Zozobra will be some of the stuff that will be getting listened to tomorrow.
