Gonna have to be harsh on this one and say no for fear it will open the door for shorter shorts which I'd also have to say yes to.
Nice bowl of Crunchy Nut you got here, pretty expensive as I recall.

These lists show off an amazing breadth of the high-brow and the low-brow...mine will be a lot like that, too. What a schizophrenic decade.

Let's make it OFFICIAL. (*EDITED) I decided early on that I would post the list right after I hit 100. So...the most beloved films are in the top 15 or so, and the farther down are the kind of movies that I wouldn't mind sitting down and watching at any time if they were found while surfing through the vast wasteland of TV. #103 was added just because no one else will think of it (let alone add it to theirs). 1.Pink Floyd The Wall-Alan Parker, 1982 2.Airplane- Jim Abrahams, David Zucker & Jerry Zucker, 1980 3.Caddyshack-Harold Ramis, 1980 4. 98. Brewster's Millions
90. Young Sherlock Holmes

49. Never Ending Story

Wow, three that I forgot about...all three are better than many of their respective genres in the same era, as I remember.

How the hell could I forget Never Ending Story!!!! Adding as #100, if Mitchell doesn't mind.

2. Nema-ye Nadzik [Close-Up] (Kiarostami)

Pretty sure this is 1990 (also one of the best films ever made).

I have absolutely no idea what my #1 is going to be.

Oh wait, yes I do. Is the Decalogue eligible?

Very much so.

shenanigans.

It did get a theatrical release, but in 1990 so we may have to sit on it until next time.

Is this the official word on Decalog (not 1980's), then?

I kind of wanted to do a '95-'04 Albums list but didn't really feel like I had listened to enough from that time to form an opinion. This is a list I can weigh in on.

If we're going to count a Polish tv miniseries, let's get it out of the way and lump it in with the spartan 80s.

It was released theatrically in Canada, seems fair a Canadian voting for it. We'll have it in this decade as that's when it was made.
