the mystery of "F as in Knife"

Looking around, I found this ilm thread on the matter. They claim it is instead a song called "Tar Heart" by a band called ZeigeIst. I wasn't able to find much else about them besides a myspace page for them (with three other great songs on it). So anyone know what the deal is? Is there a hot new electro-pop band hiding on similar sounding bands' leaks? Or is this just another Noah's Slaughter?
Or, and if they're real, can I pretty pretty please vote for "F as in Knife" on the 06 singles poll?

Time to resurrect this obscure thread, because the new Zeigeist album is killer. Like the Knife meets Kate Bush meets Goldfrapp. "Tar Heart" is on it, and "Bunny/Humanitarianism" is one of the better singles I've heard this year.

The other two are okay but I've been in love with Kate Bush since I was about 13. Probably my only fan-geek episodes ever involve her.

About 95% of your posts are bashing what other people are listening to. Why do you even come here? For the Bryan Adams fish? I'll PM you when something new shows up, but in the meantime why don't you take your useless and shitty opinions elsewhere, please.meets my recycle bin.Like the Knife meets Kate Bush meets Goldfrapp.

I read about this band on PopJustice the other day, and it sounded right up my alley. Which it is.
Those darn Scandinavians...the good music never stops these days.

Yeah, they list Matthew Barney as an influence, so I'd expect amazing or amazingly terrible visuals out of this band. At any rate, I dig the album cover. And its contents. Thanks for mentioning this band in oft-neglected slsk chat last week, Raj.
Dear Yancy,
Who is the faggot in your avatar?

Can't believe how noone talks about The Knife on this board. I'm in love with them.
Did they release a new album since Silent Shout? It's been over two years.
Really liked Silent Shout but don't listen to it much now. Haven't heard their other releases.
