My cheeks are puffy and I need chew toys, it's like they grew in overnight. Eatin' jello right now.

Dunno yet.
Have them do it. You will likely wish you had done what I said if you don't.
I had one removed without being put under. Not fun. It had to be busted up and removed piece by piece. When I had the other three removed, I was put under. I had to pay a few $hundred extra for anesthesia.

I wrote about this on the SOMB last year, when I fully engaged in the above. And it was GREAT!Ooh, boy, I'm a big fan of the vicodin and vodka cocktail. Nothings more doozy. I was hoping for a less available painkiller (lol, that I can't buy at school), but I wouldn't be upset with the vikey, no way.

I had mine extracted while under "conscious sedation". I think its a mixture of Demerol and Verced (sp?). They administer it as an IV drip and things....get......funny.....then quite relaxed.....then very warm.......then......they............get......very.......slow......and............

But, you do not fall completely asleep. You can respond to simple commands like "Sit up straighter" or "Don't slump over". Which believe me - once you get enough of that mixture - you will. But you will have very little memory of the entire thing. Quite a blessed relief actually - especially after infection or impaction like I've had, too.
Best of luck and a fuzzy Muzak-sounding Mike Post theme-song medley coming from the ceiling speakers featuring Sugar Blue, Buckethead, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to ya' !
Maybe I wasn't completely under, and I just didn't remember any of it.
