I like this American Princes album that simakos uploaded. Definitely a better rock band than the Hold Steady. Needs more bottom end though.
Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

HELIOS ---- EINGYA

Posted Image

excerpt from boomkat:

A student at Berkley College of Music in Boston, Kenniff's(Helios) style may benefit from a firm understanding of what is required under-the-bonnet in terms of technical considerations, but never does he let the more austere elements of formal musical training encroach on the utterly sublime compositions that stretch as far as the eye can see. Helios provides a perfectly balanced bridge from previous album 'Unomia' - weaving pastoral charm and emotionally rich piano, delicate guitar and Eno-hatched synths, with the kind of eroded beats which seems poised perpetually on the cusp of majestic disintegration. Grandstanding without resorting to needless bombast, Helios understands that whilst reverence for your heroes is always expected, there's no need to produce a pale facsimile - with 'Eingya' giving the nod to Harold Budd, Eno, Basinski, Drake and Boards of Canada, whilst crafting a portmanteau of boxfresh aural treats.

As Per Usual An Excellent List... Despite the evidence of brainwashing for having given "The Crane Wife" the number two slot...!!!

I sense the onset of another series of exchanges. B)

you call it brainwashing, i call it proper respect for the curiously alluring conservative indie agenda.

12. Cortney Tidwell – Don't Let Stars Keep Us Tangled Up

always like your lists, there is plenty to find here that I've never heard. For instance,
this one. The samples I'm listening to also sound great, she's got a nice voice and
some great musicians to back it.

conservative indie agenda.

give me a break...sometimes i'm so deep cover, i can't tell the good guys from the bad guys anymore...indie starts blurring into corporate rock and vice versa...
