The guy in the porno I was jerking off to had a Deadhead tattoo.

Damo Suzuki: So, um, yeah. Getting older isn't as bad as it sounds. Better than being young & poor (DjDrake) or young & slutty (SG) or young, poor and slutty (Paves); am I right?
Alright, my friends. It's time for another solid little rock jam

Out on the road today, I saw a Deadhead tatoo on a guy in a porno
A little voice Inside my head said, "Don't look back. You can never look back."

Paves,
You might want to delete this thread before you start applying for jobs.
Just looking out for you,
DrJ
Out of curiosity, how uptight and well-equipped are human relations departments these days? I only ask because I've been applying for new jobs, too. I figure my MySpace page is relatively safe, being that it's relatively accessible I keep it thus, but are they really going to find someone on SOMB?
You might have been joking, but I'm somewhat paranoid...
thanks.

I don't know what they look for or if they really know how, but if a trail can be made by connecting different online info that leads here, then yes.
Using a really distinct SN on multiple sites is one way info can be dug up.
"kalmia" isn't really distinct enough. I have tried to use it on other boards and other sites that require registration, and it was already taken.
I am not super careful with my postings, and someone who knows as much as I do about finding out info about people would easily find out a lot about me.
Also, if you keep talking to Paves about this stuff, you will be breaking that Mark Foley law (if you are outside of Illinois).

If you were really private you wouldn't use your name as a moniker, personal picture as an avatar, and first and last name in your publicly viewable e-mail.
with regard as to my internet openness, I sometimes like to believe that the world isn't as bigbrotherized as it probably is. so yeah, that's probably a delusion. granted, i googled somb and my name, sound opinions and my name, and nothing much turned up. i also like to think that i'm smarter than HR people. again, that could be a delusion.
out of curiosity, i also googled somb and paves. a lot turned up. but who in HR even knows what somb is in the first place?

Actually, yeah! A juicy experiment. However, if you are about to commence about this, keep in mind that you *didn't* meet me on SOMB. Just know what you can know as per a resume: my full name, which is, now that i'm paranoid... DELETED.
