so, that other thread is, like, a total downer dude. besides the ladies posted, its all sad sacks and emo songs. so what are you getting for christmas. it's getting harder to actually be excited for something but this year I am getting myself some Shure E500s. I can't wait for the absolute bliss! so what are you getting, come on you bitch ass hoes. brag a little, what sweet shit are you gonna unwrap...on christmas day you sick minded people. anything bad ass?
Download this EP I made. The songs are pretty close to where they should be. I colaborated with Brian Wilson and Thom Yorke and then we all fucked in my basement apartment. Thom has a really big dick suprisingly, and Brian Wilson cried the whole time, yelling "These moans are not in perfect harmonic unison". Anyway, it sounds like what you would imagine something from that situation sounds like.

We don't really do crazy amounts of gifts for Christmas, so I'm asking for three or four games and a couple of CDs. If I get everything, I'll be pleased as punch. I always buy everything I really want, so Christmas and birthdays usually get me the things I kinda want. But sometimes I'll hold out on something just so I've got something to look forward to.

I'll probably ask for Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii), Elite Beat Agents (DS), and Yoshi's Island DS (yeah). Maybe something else as well. These were games I thought I might get review copies for, but probably will not, so I'll task my immediate family with footing the bill for them...

CDs or music DVDs from my son & brother, I imagine. Gift cards of some sort from my stepmom--I collect these. I'm an impulse shopper so they're always at home when I decide to go into a store. Currently in my possession: • $50 AmEx from Xmas 2005 • $100 Best Buy vintage 2004 • $50 Borders ca. 2004 • $60 in Nordstrom rebates vintage 2001-5 (they let you spend them past the deadline, so no hurry) • $34.02 in Costco rebates 2005-6 • $100 Macy's ca. 2002 • $100 Mervyn's circa 2001 • $550 AmEx bonus from a former job that I've been "saving for something special" since 2000 • $85 coupon for a spa in Saratoga CA, from the same job • $75 Crate & Barrel ca. 2000 • $50 Target circa 1998 • $30 Waldenbooks ca. 1990. They were acquired by Barnes & Noble, I think?

A nice sweater will somehow be thrown into whatever my parents buy me. A CD and/or DVD. A big ass bag of Skittles or some tooth-decaying delicacy.

Books! Accompanied by a sigh from my mother, realizing that she is, finally, cooler than me.
