Vote for Hinder in Pazz'N'Jop to stick it to The Voice

The best response, however, is by a blog called Anthony Is Right. He urges all those recieving one of The Voice's 1500 ballots to give Hinder's Extreme Behavior the full 30 points possible. He believes if just 100 do so, the piece of shit can take the top spot.
I really don't give a shit about The Voice or Christgau, but I hate hate hate Hinder and think them taking the top spot would be the funniest damn thing ever. I'm guessing Kot and DeRo recieve ballots and with all the music writers around these parts are few of you are bound to as well. If you do, please oh please give Hinder the 30 points. If you want to do a serious ballot, submit one to Idolator. It's just as relevant at this point anyway.

I don't have any interest in the Village Voice or Christgau, but I fully support the comedy of a god-awful butt rock band topping an elite rock snob poll.
Kinda like what's gonna happen here in a few weeks.
If Joanna Newsom falls into the category of "god-awful butt rock," then i think you're right.

though I probably would hate the band and the sentiment of the song is fairly disgusting, I'd be lying if I said "Lips of an Angel" didn't bring a smile to my face every time I hear it.
Is that the name of the band? I've been hating them for weeks without knowing who they were. Awful, awful song.

Ever since the Dinkins Administration, it started becoming irrelevant.

yeah, but how funny would K-Fed topping the list be for a while?no interest in the statement it would send (since i prefer the current version of the voice over the one helmed by eddy/christgau), but i love the idea of a terrible album placing #1. that said, Hinder is a bit too obvious. it would be a little more fantastic if we plucked a very mediocre album from complete obscurity and put it at #1 -- just as an experiment to see what effect these kind of polls can have on sales figures.

I'm really torn on this. Obviously Fidel's plan would be great for a sociological experiment, but I have to admit that seeing K-Fed top the list would be really damn funny. Of course, to make it work, you'd have to get a couple people to write really conherent blurbs that attribute larger themes and underlying messages to K-Fed's songs.
