This has been driving me nuts for the past hour. I can't think of enough search terms to possibly google them, but I'm sure someone here knows who I'm thinking of. They're not THAT obscure. They may still be around (and I assume they are), but I definitely know they existed and toured in 2002, 2003, thereabouts. It's a band with a lot of very very short songs (think nothing more than two minutes, and a lot of songs clocking in under a minute). Typical rock line-up, very complicated, compressed songs with lots of thematic changes. I believe they also dressed up in some weird costumes. For some reason, lizards come to mind, but I may be imagining it. Also, I believe their songs had really long, humorous titles. Does this ring any bells, or am I going crazy?

Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

No, it'll be stupid, and we're already doing something stupid.

but for Bunnybrains, not Locust.

its like a group of nerds just get together to self indulge their self, just like sound opinions message board.

every song sounded exactly the same to me, sans the last song, where they just set a guitar next to an amp for roughly 8 minutes and played very softly under nothing but blasting feedback. it was a night i will never forget nor will i ever want to experience again. still, they have some great song titles. and FACT...you can listen to pretty much the entire Locust catalogue on Itunes for free if you just click each song and listen to the sample.
