awesome. I was drinking their Smoke on the Porter this past weekend.

I keep hearing about this, but I can never find it anywhere. One of the local grocery stores used to carry the New Glarus Unplugged series, but now I cant find them. They were rarely brilliant (too unbalanced, of the three I tried.) but they were fun and adventurous. Smoke on the Porter sounded delicious though.

we picked ours up at the Woodman's in Madison. this probably doesn't help you out...

derek. you and i have the same opinions about berry beer as we do about Red Robin.

yeah I am up near Green Bay, so Madison is a little out of the way. But it is good to know that it is still out there.

Nine percent and feels like it after just one bottle. Not bad at all. Although I much prefer Unibroue's Don De Dieu.

Was never taken by Unibrou. Well crafted, to be sure, but couldn"t justify the price for a 4 pack.

Agreed for the most part. I'm finishing up an eight-pack sampler that was on sale at Binny's. Can't say I'd go out of my way for Unibroue when I can get Chimay, etc. for basically the same price.

If you're gonna spring for that, might as well track down the Fuller's craft beers. Akways fantastic. Do they still do a Winter? I have '98 - '01 still tucked away, I should have a tasting. With any luck, they're all still good and not skunky. They're big enough to survive, and I've kept them in a favorable environment. This winter I have a new adventure, I guess.

it sucks that i finished all of my gin because now i am reduced to vodka and juice and it's just not the same btw the only good thing about my town is that you can go home at 11 and not run into a single car.

it's just one of those random fruit blends in the grocery store. I'm pretty sure they don't sell straight up juice in single servings anymore, it's just blends.

whatever a screw driver is best when its Silver Wolf vodka with minute maid OJ w/ pulp over not quite enough ice when you're already hung over but its all you can scrape together so even though its almost lukewarm you're just hoping it takes the edge off . . . . or something, lolz

WHOA! I've been lovin the beers aged in whiskey casks lately and this one definitely does the style justice. A slight ring head around the edge other than that total darkness. The whiskey is nice and subtle, the thick creamy body helps smooth out the alcohol, other than that its all roasted malts and chocolate.

I wonder why some of you dont like to drink better beer?
