You heard Giuseppe Ielasi's Aix yet vurt?

Kind of techno concrète, think you might like - certainly worth a look.

You got a link to this Bruegel?

Cheers

Last year's "Happy House" single means I'll definitely be picking this (new Juan MacLean) up.

I gave that "Happy House" single a listen and its pretty great. Now i'm on to the album and not far in, but so far its sounding real nice. At first i wasnt sold on the vocals, both male and female, but they're already starting to grow on me. I'm not sure why but I'm always extra weary about vocals on any electronic album, meaning they can really make or break an album for me. Luckily the latter doesnt seem to be the case here. edit: wow, "Tonight" is really gorgeous. just been floored.

this

the juan maclean can do wrong. i guess we've all learned to expect nothing less than greatness when the dude crafting the most solid of disco jamz is a former member of six finger satellite.

This is all loaded onto my iPod ready to go for tomorrow and I can't fucking wait.

Now I'm trying to find the "Swarm / Hubble" thingy that the 'Kat is purring about. Bruegs: you have any idea who these guys are?

So i've spent the last few hours listening to Less Than Human and this, and i think i can safely say The Future Will Come is MUCH superior. Everything is just sooo solid, air-tight. And the vocal thing i was mentioning, yea def a prob on LTH, not the case here though. This is the electronic album i didnt know i was waiting for. Now if only i could get "Tonight" off repeat, but i dont think its gonna happen. I once counted 3 eargasms in that track alone (2:02, 4:06, 8:36). edit: and yes, i know how ridiculous making these comparisons are this early in the game, but both of these albums are new to me so im treating them equally, so bugger off haters. ;)

I am in total agreement. I loved LTH but this is a different animal.

For the last week I have been listening tp Liedgut pretty much constantly (occasionally interspersed with the Tron OST). Now The Future Will Come joins it in compulsive rotation.
