I was a done a good turn and got an OiNK invite - thanks again, heinstein - so now I'll do what I can. I got 3 right now, I'll give up two to the first two people who ask, no matter who they be, and one to the first person who asks who's been around here as least as long as I have.
Please, don't fuck me over here: if you've been booted from OiNK before, don't ask for an invite. I'd like to use my invites for as many people that want to put em to good use. Also, I strongly suggest you read the FAQ before downloading anything; it's real easy to screw yourself w/ the ratio requirement, even on the first day.
I would love an invite!

I find it really hard to keep a good ratio since all I go there for is rare shit that no one ever wants to D' from me. Maybe I should just re-download Neon Bible for the upload points.

you should be careful who you give invites to. there is a huge thread going on in the oink forums right now about a kid who was selling invites on ebay. they posted everything they know about him. pics, multiple email addresses, multiple screennames and his myspace page. also his dads pic, his dads cell, home, and fax phone number. plus his dads work website. the owner of the site started it all and hes updating it. the site is ruthless. he even said sometimes when they catch sellers they ban everyone in their invite tree...that would mean you.
Hmm. So what you're saying is the person I give one to might be turning around and selling them? Or are you saying that what I'm doing is selling invites? Regardless, I'll beware. Thanks.

the person you gave them too. i would keep your invites for respected members here or whatever forum you go to. or just give them to friends.

I'd imagine they'd have to be finicky when they're in the Warez business. Still, that's pretty fucked up.

neon bible isnt on the site yet because a good enough quality rip doesnt exist. anyways unless you are one of the first few hundred seeders you wont get shit for it. add it in your requests so you no when it first hits than maybe you will be lucky to get it when it first hits oink. one good thing to grab are bootlegs from popular bands as soon as they are uploaded. also anything rare from popular bands. and seed as much as you can. i keep utorrent running 24/7 usually.

Have you been kicked out in the past?i'd love one - and i'll answer any questions you'd like to assuage any fears.
What would your ratio be 7 days from now?
If your answers are no and >1, pm me with an email address

with all of that, is oink really worth it? i know that it definitely has its uses (i.e. lossless copies of just about everything) but does it actually have much that you can't find from other torrent sites, like demonoid and the like? i used to be deperate for an invite, and after seeing it at a friend's house, not to mention hearing a bunch of horror stories, does it live up to its reputation?

horror stories? dont sell invites on ebay and seed a little. thats all it takes to stay a member there. also demonoid doesnt even compare to oink for music.
