Well, I WAS planning on something nice, until this weekend, so now I'm pretty much gonna just treat it like any other Wednesday night...oh, wait, I'm off that day....could be real ugly...depending on what time I wake up...yowza, I shudder to think what might happen. The last few Valentines days have been super shitty for me and I was not even single and bitter for any of them. Valentine's Day is the 20th Anniversary of our first date, so I'm taking Monday off and we're going up to LA: Breakfast at King's Hawaiian Bakery, then The Getty Villa Museum in Malibu, and Trader Vic's in Beverly Hills for Cocktails & Puu-Puus. On Valentine's Day itself I'll take her out for Hot Chocolate like I did for our first date. And Homemade Chocolates. I'm also thinking of making a 3D Pop-Up card for her, too.

I dunno. Week night holidays fucking blow. I think I'm on the hook for a dinner the following weekend. From what I remember being told, we're laying low on the day itself due to an early morning flight she has on Thursday. I'll probably buy some girly stuff for her -- nothing outrageous -- sit around and watch a movie or two. Drink some booze. Harass the dog. The initial Bonnaroo lineup hits that day.

I haven't figured it out yet. I'm going to have to be extra nice, since I'm missing both Valentine's Day and our 1-year anniversary (Feb. 17) since I've been away in LA, Phoenix and Salt Lake City working on a project. Won't be back till the 19th. Will have to make up for that. I've never missed a one-year anniversary before...
