Damo Suzuki: So, um, yeah. Getting older isn't as bad as it sounds. Better than being young & poor (DjDrake) or young & slutty (SG) or young, poor and slutty (Paves); am I right?
Alright, my friends. It's time for another solid little rock jam

I remember being four or five years old or something and seeing a picture of Freddie Mercury for the first time. I honestly would never have guessed that he had a mustache.
or teeth that could eat an apple through a chain link fence.

here's another one
Right, right: how can such an ugly motherfucker make such pretty music?
Reminds me of Nietzsche's argument against Socrates: he's wrong cause he's ugly.

Yup.Proof that I've been living under a rock... until I saw the "I Still Remember" video on PF, I had no idea the lead singer of Bloc Party was black. I had a real Moe-ment ("Waaahh? Maya Angelou is black??!?")
I initially found "Banquet" kind of grating in that "white guy trying to sound like a black guy" way. Then I saw a video and went "Oh, he is black, now I'm all turned around on the subject."

Also learning Kele Okereke was black was a bit of a surprise.

Can't wait to see how Johnny Depp looks fitted with overbite teeth in the biopic.
