Not to continue the bitch-fest, as I can procrastinate with the best of 'em, but I specifically asked about Exectutioner's Song BEFORE I even voted on this thing, and as I had seen it listed in IMDB, you kinda shrugged and said, fine go ahead with it. Kinda feel cheated that after so long, I still wasted a vote with no opportunity to amend my vote. Otherwise, good to see this is finally going.

Mitchell's traditional method doesn't bother me in the least. Sure, seeing the review on this page vs. clicking the imdb link is marginally more enticing if you've got the time to read it on the spot (not likely in my case). Otherwise, all that info and more is only a click or two away. Remember when GDB used to try to hunt down an allmusic quote for every song, and finally learned that not enough people were reading the quotes to justify his time & effort? I think we have to take the pollster's constraints into consideration...seems like not an unreasonable compromise.

This ten-at-a-time method is superior to the straight list that gets posted at the end (i.e., 500-250). If anything, that only gets a glance from me whereas this format allows time for reflection & investigation (albeit solo).

I've only seen Night Shift and Weird Science from that grouping. I've always wanted to check out Bird, and probably will someday. Which of the other seven are worth a rental?

I liked Children of a Lesser God when it came out, probably because I had a crush on Wm. Hurt...haven't seen it since the late 80s. It's the only role I've liked Marlee Matlin in, however.
