"Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humour."

oh yes, i am aware of the fish thread. however... in this one, you may not ask for records. you must just take what you are given.

sorry man but why would anyone ever check this thread? there is already a continuing 2006 thread, a 2007 thread, and an all around with requests and random uploads. we don't need another fish thread poluting the front page. it's great to contribute but try another way.
Download this EP I made. The songs are pretty close to where they should be. I colaborated with Brian Wilson and Thom Yorke and then we all fucked in my basement apartment. Thom has a really big dick suprisingly, and Brian Wilson cried the whole time, yelling "These moans are not in perfect harmonic unison". Anyway, it sounds like what you would imagine something from that situation sounds like.

I'm thinking you are already obnoxious but forgetable and if you want to get sarcastic and funny, the number of people who have not checked this thread is in the billions.

i don't want to get funny. i want to upload random shit in this thread and not be crucified for it.

You won't get crucified for uploading random shit in the regular fish thread, just ask fakeconcerns. Plus, you can make requests there as well. That thread supersedes this one.
make it three yards, motherfucker, and we'll have an automobile race

edit: i love free music and when people post links to albums in random threads like noise rock or the electronic thread of course, but these "random album grab-ass" threads just seem unorganized and lack discussion and are completely without boarding merit.

That's fuckin' right.

Unless it's the "Thread Where I Upload '95-'04 Albums For Bill" thread. Or any thread that I ever decide to start like this.

Nobody else do it, please.

Damo Suzuki: So, um, yeah. Getting older isn't as bad as it sounds. Better than being young & poor (DjDrake) or young & slutty (SG) or young, poor and slutty (Paves); am I right?

Alright, my friends. It's time for another solid little rock jam
