Sound Opinions Message Board _ Music Discussion _ Let's share our 2008 mixes in this thread, 2008 is halfway over in leak years

Sister Hell's thread got me thinking about the fact that I haven't made a mix cd in a long time. I cobbled together all my 2008 mp3s and made a quick mix, which I will post here:

I'm interested in seeing what others have discovered this year. I've heard a lot of great music, but seem to be caught in that "indie rut" even moreso than usual this summer. I'd really love to hear a good hip hop or dance mix.
It probably wasn't the best idea to post this at 9 on a Thursday, during the NBA finals...

I'll put one up later, maybe. I haven't made a mix in forever either, but I can't think of any 2008 music I've listened to.

SOMB is on a roll this week!
I think I'm more excited about listening to some of these mixes than by anything that has popped up in the fishnets lately.
Something about trusting to the tastes of complete strangers?
I dunno

My Quarter II mix will appear in about a month. Can re-up the older ones if need be.

I'm completely amused that people who I don't know IRL actually listen to this guy. I didn't even know that there was a new one, how is it? Never been crazy about 'em, but the live show sure is entertaining in a watch-a-fat-guy-face-plant-into-concrete when crowd surfing fails sort of way
