so i'm not a hater but i guess i can understand how oprah would get on peoples nerves after seeing a clip of her xmas show. she gave a bunch of african kids much needed clothing and school supplies, which was a very nice gesture. BUT gawd did she go over the top with her look....braids oprah? it was like she was trying to be as black as she could but it just looked like she was trying too hard. i have a hard time believing the big o has ever hosted one of her hour long shows wearing braids. (big assumption on my part though, i just don't watch enough oprah - maybe she does wear braids when denzel comes on or something). eh, whatever. it seemed like a very calculated move. and you know, when you're saving the world you really shouldn't have to go there.

a friend of mine when i worked at Gap hated Oprah, i am indifferent, he explained his opinion to me and i can see how he dislikes her

I was doing laundry and the dryer crapped out 15 minutes into the cycle. Now I'm left with two loads of wet laundry. I got two options:
A) go to laundromat, wash everything yet again, come home at midnight with dry clothes.
B) use the washer's spin cycle all night, sleep in damp sheets/pj's.
