my dad just called to say he was driving home the other day and he heard Ween come on the radio. It was "Push th' Little Daisies" and he said it was, and I quote "one of the worst things I have ever heard."
it's awesome that he can not only identify Ween, but call to say how much he doesn't like them

However, that is all irrelevant, as his name is Paul Potts. Paul Potts. Are you fucking kidding me? i think ive seen clips of him. he's kinda ugly but has the voice of an angel. and in the clips everyone is tearing up, and of course i almost teared up. that what i wish america had. talent.

My issue is regarding the raise I got today. It was incredibly insulting and I'm already paid about $10k less than I should be. I'm so outta there. I'm going to try to hold out until February so I can get my bonus, but I don't know if I can handle it.

Despite the fact that it had no effect on me whatsoever Wednesday night (first time drinking anything but a few glasses of wine in at least 2 months), one weak vodka-cranberry last night gave me such a bad headache that I slept until noon today, was up for about an hour and then went back to bed until after 5 and my head is still effin pounding. Wtf?! Is it possible that hard liquor has turned on me forever?
In other wtf news, some people that I know are staying in a hotel downtown this weekend (I was supposed to be joining them. stupid headache!) and they just called me and told me they found a baby. Someone left a baby sitting in the hallway of the hotel near the bar eating chexmix. They said he looks like he's about 12 months. He can't talk enough to tell them what's going on so they are just keeping him with them until his asshole parents come claim him. People are fucked up.
