I just finished a phone interview. I sort of froze up for a minute when she asked for an example of a time when I came up with a creative solution for a problem. Accountants...creative? Those are two words that aren't really supposed to go together. That's why we now have to deal with Sarbanes-Oxley. heh.
I HATE phone interviews!

He's talking about Behemoth and Leviathan. Behemoth is likely a hippo or elephant. Leviathan could be any number of large sea creatures or a myth (likely from parts further north) of some manner since its described as "Breathing fire", which I don't believe dinosaurs were very inclined to do.

batshit crazy beliefs are a prime interest of mine, especially when they have to do with myth and religion. I find it fascinating that something that was originally likely a description of a large wetland based animal such as a elephant or hippo can take on the stature of a mythical monster, then be translated into Arabic where it becomes a fish large enough to hold thousands of worlds in its nostril, then be rediscovered in our own era to justify creationism and the existence of dinosaurs during the lifespan of homo sapiens. I wouldn't talk to the co-worker about all this, granted, but I find it fascinating.

I used to play drums but haven't done so consistently in about four/five years. So my knowledge of what is good and new to the market is pretty bad right now. I know that the Ludwig set I played in high school was really good, though. I remember we tuned the snare absurdly high to provide a loud POP that you'd typically hear in a Piccolo snare. It probably wasn't good for the drum heads, as we were always busting them up just because they were stretched while beyond their means.
Now that I think about, my old roommate's drumset is sitting around our apartment still. He said he was looking to sell it, but hadn't gotten a chance to put it up before he moved out to Nashville. There may be a pretty sweet set that i can help you out with at a good price sitting around my place if you were interested. It's older (probably five to ten years old), but it's in really great condition and sounds good.
