Thanks. It's my favorite river in the U.S.(that I have seen), and probably my favorite national forest. It's about 40 miles north of Yellowstone. That old timer and I were the only ones out on the river(which was a bit silty from recent rain). The forest is home to some rare species such as grizzly, wolf, wolverine, lynx among others. Wild country and fantastic trout water.

Hmmm.... Silver Creek?

Yes, No?

Nope. This one is surrounded by a million acres of wilderness. It's on a dead end dirt road, about 20 miles in.

Not much of an outdoorsman myself, but last summer I drove from Minneapolis to San Francisco and along the way I spent a few days in Yellowstone with a good friend of mine. I didn't venture that far north, but we did enter through the northern entrance, as I was told that was the most scenic route in. Anyways, beautiful country. Would love to spend some more time there.

Because my business is 100% online, and there's no outdoors in the Chicago suburbs.

little trout on the Big Deschutes

Not when you have the taxes we do. Hopefully a bit of that will change soon.

If I could I would be on the road half the year. But when you start talking multiple terabytes, multiple servers, etc a laptop in a Camry doesn't quite cut it.

I rent cars for those trips. The Camry would be used if I was on the road for longer than three months (which hasn't happened yet).

So many questions, so little time. Rental cars do quite well on the gravel roads, and sometimes do well were they should never be taken.

I think people get on television and get nervous. They view vowels as safety nets because you can fill in puzzle spaces without the risk of hitting bankrupt or loose a turn.
