I agree with Feisty, they are magical people. I wish all walks of life had regattas.

Panhandlers Assembly Regatta (Nantucket Conference)
AA Annual Regatta (Eighth Step and Up Only)
Elephant Ear-Rollers and Associated Tradesmen Regatta

and so forth

even though our company seems to be in fiduciary trouble every six to eight weeks, they ponied up some bucks and got me this spectacular new iMac for my office

it's pretty fantastic and about a billion times faster than the old POS they had me working on

it's a good day if only for that reason and for the delicious thai food i picked up at the farmers market this afternoon.

a good day, indeed...now if only i could get rid of this nagging cough

Never have done much with the friends list here.
Last night Rabbi was nice enough to add me per the email notice but he doesn't show up on the friend list.
I suspect yet another great screw up in the upgrade of a couple weeks back.

I was gonna mess around with the friends list today but if it's broken why bother.
Anyone else use it much or have problems with it?
yancy
Attention employer: if you want me to wear nice clothing on a humid summer day, turn the air conditioner on. Fuck it, white t-shirt time.

You'll see your name on his friends list. You have to add him as a friend if you want to see him on your list.

A ha...thanks V.

On another topic.

So is it inappropriate to strike up a conversation with an amazingly attractive woman I see in Mass everyday? She appears to be single. Yes, the objective is hitting on her.
Duff.
Hey, why not? Church has always been a place to meet people.

yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Just wondering if she likes Mass as a place to escape the ...must be constant...approaches.
Duff.
Yeah, so long as you don't swoop in like a hawk or stare at her chest or anything. Granted, I've never been great at this part of it, so maybe I'm full of it.

Didn't you see the pic of him in ripped jeans in front of the music collection? There is no way 1 woman can satisfy a guy like that.

Yesterday after a meeting with our clients, one of them (the old, fat crazy one) came up to me and said "I have to do this once!" and then howled and started caressing my beard.

It was only semi-uncomfortable./..

HewlettsDaughter
that sounds about right. i don't remember.

i bought the Wicker Man on dvd and will plan a viewing sometime in the coming weeks. this could also be the scene of a fast food eat-off

without_opinion
i think that wicker man, sonic, and the epic fast food eatoff are supposed to be unrelated thoughts, but I can't tell by your last post. it doesn't actually matter.

i've been studying up on my value/dollar menu items.

Dear simakos,

Thanks for being a part of DivShare. Late last night we were alerted of a security breach that allowed a malicious user to access our database, which included user e-mail addresses and other basic profile information. No financial information has been accessed by any unauthorized parties. We have taken extreme measures to secure the site in the last 24 hours and are currently in the process of rolling out new security precautions, which is why many files were unavailable earlier today. We apologize for this inconvenience and for the oversights that allowed this security breach to take place. We take the security of all data and files very seriously and are embarrassed and regretful that an intrusion was allowed to take place on our watch.

Please rest assured that no financial information whatsoever has been compromised. While we are not aware of what data has actually been accessed or copied, the database included user e-mail addresses and other data you may have saved to your profile, such as your first name. We are not aware of any files being accessed without permission, but we recommend that you change your account password and the passwords on any private folders as a security precaution.

We can’t apologize enough for allowing this breach to take place. We know how important security is for all our members and their files, and we are taking every precaution available to ensure that this doesn’t happen again. We ask for your patience as we roll out new security upgrades in the coming days, and we pledge to keep your files and user information under the tightest security possible from here on out.

My friends from both Illinois and Wellesley are beginning to polarize to New York and California, which I didn't expect. I have always thought of myself as the opposite of "bicoastal" (polymiddle?) but here we go down that road.

Not to go all Rob Gordon on you, but make him a mix with some of the following songs:

Better Off Now that You're Gone - Will Hoge
When You're Gone - Tom Petty
One More Minute - Weird Al
Glad You're Gone - Podunk

etc.

Hm. My girlfriend has a habit of leaving her jewelry on the vanity in the washroom. This eventually leads to a ring or bracelet going down the drain every so often. Which means I am obliged to take the sink apart and fish out whatever fell in amid the clumps of wet, disgusting hair. Her hair, I might add.

Not something I enjoy doing. Especially when I am trying to watch a television programme. No.
