This is how it should be done:

It's usually a contractual thing: Matthew McConaughey gets his name above the other 2 and his image in the foreground showing that he's the "Star." Steve Zahn & Penelope Cruz had to fight over who's second billed, so one gets their name "First" (going Left to Right), and the other gets their image "First" (going Left to Right).

Tim Allen probably worked something out where his name went first, but Martin Lawrence got his image first. John Travolta has his image foremost in the picture, and he's being shown as taller than the other three, which was probably enough to make him happy (he probably got an extra monitary consideration to make up for not being listed first).

Height on posters a contractual thing, too: Martin Lawrence is 5 inches shorter than Tim Allen, but not on the poster. Joe Pesci is 6" shorter than Ray Liotta, but only 4 inches shorter than Robert De Nero (who looks the tallest on the poster).
